Can you believe fall is officially here?

In addition to the delicious flavors of the season, I’m a big fan of seasonal décor. Though many people don’t consider investing in holiday décor until Halloween, I’m inspired to switch up my décor inside according to the beautiful color changes in foliage and leaves outside.

Read on for a few of the fun, easy ways I like to customize my home décor for the season.

Switch Out Accent Pillows: You can easily revamp the look of a room by trading out pillows. For the fall season, choose colors with deeper hues and traditional prints, such as plaid.

2 Try Leaf Art: Did you know you can collect fallen leaves in your yard and turn into beautiful wall art? Click here for a great how-to guide from HGTV.

Make Pumpkins Pretty: Contrary to popular belief, you don’t have to undergo the arduous process of pumpkin carving to get in the Halloween spirit. Painting, spray painting, stenciling and decorating with accents are options, too! PopSugar has a great guide to creatively decorate pumpkins HERE.

Coffee Table Décor: I recently wrote a blog post about how to create the perfect coffee table vignette HERE. To get the autumn vibe, try adding fallen leaves or mini pumpkins to your centerpiece assortment.

Incorporate Fall-Friendly Colors: I love incorporating wicker baskets, as well as burnt-orange and burgundy accent colors, into my decor to commemorate fall. I find that an inexpensive, easy way to add color to your décor is with glass candleholders.

Add a Fall Arrangement: The temperatures outside may be dropping, but don’t give up on pretty blooms just yet! Chrysanthemums are one my favorite fall flowers, and make a great centerpiece addition at this time of year.
