Rosemary Lemon Margarita Mocktails

Margaritas are having a moment today, in honor of National Tequila Day. So I thought it would be a great opportunity to share one of my favorite twists, as well as a virgin version, of the classic cocktail.

  1. To create a simple syrup for your mocktail, in a small saucepan over medium heat, combine 1 1/2 cups water with 1 cup sugar. Stir until dissolved.
  2. Place rosemary in pan and stir again. Set aside until cool.
  3. Strain simple syrup and lemon juice into a large pitcher to prevent bits of rosemary sprig from falling into mixture.
  4. Stir in 4 cups of cold water to pitcher and top with lots of ice cubes prior to serving. Enjoy!
